The INgov Roadshow is Indiana ’s premier resource for small business assistance.  The event consists of presentations on the resources and services made available by Indiana state agencies and an introduction to state managers charged with overseeing small business initiatives.  The event will close with a small business networking session. More.

Football Kickoff This Friday. Signed up for the Football Kickoff Luncheon? Then we’ll see you this Friday, August 22, at 11:30 a.m. at the Purdue Memorial Union. We’ll meet the 2008 Boilermaker team, hear for the final time at a Chamber Kickoff Luncheon from Coach Joe Tiller, and catch up with former Boilermaker Keena Turner. Wear your gold and black! Uptown Jazz and Blues Saturday, August 23. Enjoy three stages of continuous live music and great fare at Uptown Jazz and Blues, from 5 p.m. to midnight this Saturday, on Fifth Street between Main and Columbia , with jams continuing from midnight to 3 a.m. at the Knickerbocker Saloon. The event is hosted by the Lafayette-West Lafayette Development Corp.’s Downtown Development Council. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the gate for adults; $5 for children aged 10 and younger. This year’s Annual Dinner promises to be a milestone event, with big news to celebrate, awards to present and dynamite speaker Karl Ahlrichs giving insights on brand initiatives.
