Area High School Students Available for Employment Through ICE Program.
ICE is a yearlong elective for seniors who want to participate in a career exploration program. The program is available and designed for students in all diploma pathways whose career goals include college/university, the military, or the workforce after graduation. There are two components to ICE: the class and the workplace component. Students earn three (3) credits per semester, six (6) credits for the year, and the opportunity to earn additional ICE credit(s) during the summer.
While most students work in the afternoons, a few students may work in
the mornings and arrive at
Workplace settings are identified and selected based on the student's
individual career goal. ICE students have been employed in each of the major
career clusters represented throughout
