Tippy Connect Young Professionals

What is Tippy Connect Young Professionals?
Thank you for your interest in Tippy Connect, Tippecanoe County’s first young professional’s organization. Tippy Connect was formed through the Chamber in December, 2006 to develop young professionals in Tippecanoe County by networking, building relationships, education and community service.

What are you about?
“Creating a network today, for the vision of tomorrow”. Tippy Connects goal is to connect the young professionals in the area and provide social and professional outlets to this new and upcoming age group and workforce. As young professionals, we have a harder time getting involved and connected to the community in ways that will mold us to be the next up and coming leaders. We hope this group will do just that, and more.

What’s in it for me?
Where do we start? First of all, if you’re looking to get connected, develop professional and personal relationships and serve your community-Tippy Connect is for you. With close to 200 individuals interested in the group-you are sure to meet new and interesting people. Plus, we have formed sub-teams to help manage the very important aspects of keeping Tippy Connect moving forward. These sub-teams will give you ample opportunities for additional involvements and career development. We offer the following sub-teams:

Membership-help us manage new and existing members and interest in Tippy Connect. For more information, please contact sub-team leader, Lauren Hale.

Hospitability-help us arrange monthly meetings, venues, menus, etc. For more information, please contact sub-team leader, Michelle Kreinbrook.

Special Events & Sponsorships-help define unique community projects outside our normal monthly activities and find sponsorships. We also facilitate the Top 10 under 40 Contest for young professionals. Click here for a list of last years Top 40 winners (link winner’s page). For more information, please contact sub-team leader Sam Burns.

When do you meet?
Tippy Connect rotates breakfast, lunch and after hour events through the year to accommodate as many schedules as possible. The events are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Special events will be held outside our normal schedule.
