The father of four children aged 4 to 12, Haehl is a West Lafayette Little League coach and umpire and is active in his church. He also served three years on the Habitat for Humanity board. When he can, he enjoys golfing, reading and watching sports. “Although I no longer do it, I also love farming, having grown up raising cattle and corn,” he says.

When he’s not working, he likes biking, sailing, playing racquetball and woodworking. He’s also active in his church and chairs the Indiana Internet board and the Chamber’s University Relations committee.
McKinnis says he’s interested in pitching in at the Chamber because, “My family has greatly benefited from living in our community and I want to work to make it even better.”
J. Pat More, business relations manager for Duke Energy, came to

“This is such a great community,” he says, prompting him to agree to serve the Chamber. “There is such a great reward for giving back. You always get more than you give. I just want to see the community continue to thrive by helping the existing businesses any way possible.”

He’s currently serving on the Ivy Tech Community College State Board of Trustees and Salin Bank board. He’s a former YMCA board member and Area Plan Commission member.
He enjoys golf, travel and spending time with his family.
Professionally, she’s active in several committees of the Indiana State Bar Association, including the appellate section, litigation section and practice management standing committee. Locally, she’s currently a Boys and Girls Club board member and she earlier served on the Volunteer Bureau board.
Searle is interested in serving on the board again because, “The Greater Lafayette community is a wonderful place to live and work, and I would like to be a part of the its dynamic growth through the further development of business and economic health.”
While she enjoys her book club, playing sports and time with friends, she reports, “Right now a lot of my energy is going toward my two kids,” one age 3, the other born earlier this summer.
