We’re One of the Best Green Places. Lafayette-West Lafayette has been named to the Best Green Places list by Country Home magazine. We ranked 2nd in the state and 60th out of 397 U.S. cities chosen. Criteria included air and water shed quality, mass transit usage, power usage, farmers markets, organic producers and green-certified buildings.
